What we consume is inextricably linked, not only to our healht and weight, but also to our skin’s condition. More and more modern studies confirm the relationship between proper nutrition and optimal skin conditions. For example, if we increase vitamins in our diet, such as minerals and micronutrients (trace elements), as well as, large quantities of water, then our skin will glow and day by day will get more beautiful.

Let’s learn what nutritional ingredients make us more beautiful and make sure that they are never absent from our daily nutrition.

Vitamin B Complex: preserves the good health of the skin, hair and nails. They combat stress and can be found in: nuts, salmon, soy, dairy products with low fat, eggs, whole wheat cereal, liver and fish.

Vitamin C: contributes to the preservation of the skin’s firmness, as well as, the natural collagen levels of the skin, it is also an antioxidant. It also helps in the body’s overall well-being and can be found in: citrus (oranges, tangarines, lemons), strawberries, tomatoes, broccoli, kiwi, green peppers and spinach

Vitamin E: helps preserve your skin’s youthfulness, as it prevents dehydration, dryness and wrinkles. It can be found in: salmon, legumes, olive oil, sesame oil and almonds.

Copper and zinc: strengthen our skin’s health by preserving the skin’s collagen, while simultaneously protecting from the sun’s UV rays. Zinc is especially beneficial for the hair’s health. They can be found in: chicken, salmon, oats, seafood (shrimp, mussles, octopus), cashews, walnuts and rice.

Iron: strengthens the immune system and gives our skin color. It can be found in high quantities in: liver, walnuts, beans, red meat, eggs and oysters.

Omega-3 fatty acids: necessary for healthy and glowing skin. They can be found in: fatty fish, such as sardines and salmon.

In general, daily consumption of fruit and vegetables, as well as, water, is a necessary step towards health, since they help in cell regeneration and offer youthful skin.
