Cabbage with rice and tomato sauce

INGREDIENTS

½ medium sized cabbage 1 cup of rice 1 cup Horio Tomato Passata 1 cup Horio PDO Kalamata olive oil 10 cups of water salt and pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Clean the cabbage, rinse it, and cut it into pieces.
  2. In a pot, put Horio PDO Kalamata olive oil, the tomato passata, salt, pepper, and water, and let it boil.
  3. When boiled, add the cabbage and leave it on the heat until the cabbage softens.
  4. Add the rice and keep cooking for about 8 more minutes.
