INGREDIENTS 12 eggs 640 gr. Horio butter Corfu type or Horio Creamy butter 1 ½ cup milk 50 gr. ammonia 2 vanillas 1 ½ kilo flour 1 egg to brush cookies with 1 greaseproof paper | | DIRECTIONS- Dissolve the vanillas and the ammonia in the lukewarm milk.
- Mix Horio butter Corfu type (or Horio Creamy butter) and the sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs, one by one, while mixing.
- Add the milk and the flour and knead well until dough becomes supple. If needed, add some more flour.
- Make cookies in braids and put them in a tray layered with a greaseproof paper.
- Beat the last egg with some water and with a brush, cover your cookies. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 200C (until brown on top).
